Emma Raducanu reveals she prefers a casual style of outfits when she is off the court. This week in Paris, Raducanu attended her first-ever fashion week. While in the French capital, Raducanu spoke to Vogue about her fashion style.
“I like to wear something that’s fairly casual and comfortable, such as a knitted jumper and flared jeans,” Raducanu told Vogue. “But when I have the opportunity to go to events like this, I have fun dressing up a bit more and trying different styles out.
I’ve been lucky enough to wear some beautiful dresses from Dior”.

“I’ll wear a jacket or coat over jumpers with jeans”. Raducanu added. “I’ll probably spend a lot of autumn away training in warm weather actually, so it will still be more summer wear”.
After spending some time in Paris, Raducanu is set to return to competing. “I’ll be playing tournaments in Czech Republic, Romania and Mexico the next three weeks,” Raducanu said of her schedule. “It was nice that there was a gap in the schedule that allowed me to attend fashion week with Dior – but it’s right back to training and preparing for the next tournament”.
Raducanu has appeared in two tournaments since the US Open. After suffering a shock round-of-16 loss to Anna-Lena Friedsam in the Portoroz round-of-16, Raducanu made her first semifinal of the year in Seoul. In Seoul, Raducanu was playing well and appeared to be a real favorite for the title.
In the Seoul semifinal, Raducanu was up by a set and a break versus Jelena Ostapenko. Then, Raducanu started dealing with a physical issue as the Briton retired while Ostapenko had a 4-6 6-3 3-0 lead. It was an unfortunate end to what looked like a great Seoul campaign for Raducanu. It remains to be seen how far can Raducanu go in Ostrava.
