Gigi Hadid Steps Out in a Cozy Cardigan and Colorful Accessories
Gigi Hadid’s latest cozy casual look has an added flair.
The model was photographed while out and about in NYC yesterday, wearing a look that included several fun accessories. To fight the chill, she layered a comfy tan cardigan over a champagne-toned silk blouse, which featured small lapels and fabric-covered buttons. She finished the look with a pair of light-wash, low-rise jeans that included decorative patches, including a yellow smiley-face at the hip and a painted cactus at the left calf.
Her accessories brought additional pops of color to the outfit, with the model sporting a pair of leopard-print platform loafers, green drop earrings, circular sunglasses, and several layers of beaded necklaces. She also wore her hair in an effortless, messy top knot.
The Guest in Residence founder is a fan of layered necklaces, even using the style to add a bit of casual whimsy to a recent power suit look. While hosting the 2022 WWD Honors last month, she paired a cobalt blue velvet suit by Tommy Hilfiger, which featured a double-breasted blazer and wide-leg pants, with a crisp white dress shirt, worn open, and matching pointed-toe heels.
Three layers of diamond necklaces were her only visible accessory, striking a lovely balance between her luxurious outfit and her casual glam, which included beach waves, bronzy makeup, and a brown lip.
The model recently told BAZAAR that comfort is her most important consideration when putting together both casual and red-carpet looks.
“My goal in life is to look as chic or put together as possible while always being comfortable. I very rarely, even on red carpets, will wear things that I feel uncomfortable in throughout the event because I just feel like I can’t be myself as much when I’m thinking about what I’m wearing in that way,” she said.
